 aNueNue Artist
Singto Namchok starts his music career right after winning the first
Ribbee’s Thailand Ukulele Contest. After releasing his first single using ukulele as instrument, his music reached top rankings on Thailand radio charts.
Singto is known as the first popular musician/singer to present ukuleles on stages and in all of his music video. His easy listening songs and sweet ukulele sound plays important role in making ukuleles popular in Thailand.

Since fascinated by a ukulele made in Hawaii which Iwoa Yamaguchi happened to pick
up when he was twenty-six years old, he has played various kinds of easy
listening---Hawaiian, jazz, bossa nova, etc. His ukulele albums
have been released more than ten so far, which made him greatest
Japanese ukulele man who brought out more than any other.

Whether it’s Bowie or Britney, Motorhead or Madonna, The Re-entrants
somehow manage to get in all the hooks, riffs, solos and vocal harmonies
with nothing but two voices and two ukuleles. Their abilities on the
instrument belie its cute appearance and music hall associations, and
whilst the audience may laugh at two large men with such tiny
instruments launching, arms windmilling, into a rock classic, the
laughter soon turns to applause and heads shaken in disbelief! Despite
appearing to be a small acoustic duo, they are in fact a
uke-behind-the-head-soloing, foot-up-on-the-monitor bonsai rock and pop
band! The Re-entrants have performed hundreds of gigs all over the UK, from
small clubs to huge festival stages, have released 3 CDs and appeared on
TV and radio.

Shigeto Takahashi started ukulele at early childhood. With 20 years of
playing experience, his distinctive soprano finger style tone is
recognized throughout the World. Today, he is respected as one of the
top ukulele player from Japan.
Shigeto travels to World ukulele
events and festivals. Spreading the love for ukulele in USA, Canada,
Sweden, Taiwan, and Singapore. He tells the story of Mount Fuji, and the
inspiration behind his playing. Shigeto’s solo CD album “Roots Trip” is
debut in 2009.
Shigeto’s Signature model has a beautiful story to tell .Once he had a
fantastic dream about Rainbow and it has a meaning of dreams coming
true. He asked designer to inlay 7th fret with big abalone dot to
symbolize the Sun and 10th fret with a abalone raindrop inlay. The
mother of pearls Rainbow rays is design in the Japanese oriental art
style. Sun and raindrop form the colorful rainbows. The body wood used
Solid Mango as it brings warm and sweet-tone. The Neck is made thinner
to make easier playing. The nut has 38mm width, so the fingerboard is
wider to prevent from slipping off.

Successfully blending the sounds of jazz blues and swing, Gerald Ross
has created a guitar style uniquely his own. Whether he is playing jazz
standards, popular favorites, delta and urban blues, Tin Pan Alley
melodies, New Orleans rhythms or boogie woogie, it’s bound to be a
delightful surprise to any listener. He has the rare ability to transmit
an infectious good humor to his audience through a tasteful combination
of outstanding instrumental talent and an eclectic repertoire. An
experienced musician, Gerald Ross is equally at home in a concert hall
or on a small club stage.
We are honor to work with Gerald to design his signature uke. The
communication took us 4 months and 50+ emails exchange. The brainstorm
goes from Gerald’s favorite movie, food, pet, and friends. We finally go
into ZEN moment, and design this one of a kind Art deco type headstock.
The headstock is fine blend of 3 woods: rosewood, koa, and Padauk the
reddish wood. Padauk wood is use on the binding of the neck, and body.
The nut width is 38mm or 1.5 inches, and offers a very comfortable neck
profile. Fishman AG-UKE passive pickup is used for the warm sound, and
light weight.

Steven Sproat is considered to be one of the UK\'s finest ukulele
exponents. He has developed his own style over 38 years of playing and
has performed extensively in the UK and abroad including some
prestigious venues such as Ronnie Scott\'s, the Mean Fiddler (London)
and the New York Ukulele Festival.
aNueNue first met Steven on YouTube, and we are shock by both his music and
playing style. They then got Steven’s DVD and learn the basic strumming,
triplet stroke, Hawaiian stroke, finger picking, thumb roll, split
stroke, fan stroke, Flamenco stroke and chord inversions. A must have
DVD for ukulele fans.
The design on Steven’s uke is a very challenging task. Steven is a
patient British gentleman, we took several month of communication, and
more emails than you can imagine. They finally end up with the vintage
style inlay on the fingerboard. Inlay is 120% hand cut mother of pearl
and inlay into the rosewood fingerboard. The rosette is blend of wood
and abalone inlay work. We did a special twist inside the box to
accommodate Steven’s heavy strumming style.

He is a powerful vocalist, with a voice as smooth and sweet as tupelo
honey but he can growl like a hurricane on a hot Louisiana night. He can
hold his own singing Novetly Jazz tunes from the 1920s and 30s or
growling a down home blues.
Hal is charismatic and engaging on stage leading the audience in a
journey through juke joints and roadside chicken joints. Old gospel
songs are played alongside stories of lost love and murder. Hal has a
songwriter\'s roots in eerie folk - murder ballads and killer floods -
and a players roots in the deep, dark, fixin\' to die blues. This is a
man who can sing the word \"lonesome\" like he means it, and no mistake.
Canadian Rock! Hal is our big brother from Canada. He is got a unique
blue vibe going on with ukulele. We love the way he jam over the loop,
and express really nice licks. We are happy to have him play a Papa II
CE. It is a mahogany concert cutaway model fitted with Fishman AG-UKE
pickups. Catch him in action on Youtube.

The Ukulele, ( /ˌjuːkəˈleɪliː/ ew-kə-lay-lee;[1] from Hawaiian: ʻukulele [ˈʔukuˈlɛlɛ]; variantly spelled ukelele in the UK), sometimes abbreviated to uke, is a chordophone classified as a plucked lute; it is a subset of the guitar family of instruments, generally with four nylon or gut strings or four courses of strings.[2]
The ukulele originated in the 19th century as a Hawaiian interpretation of the cavaquinho or braguinha and the rajão, small guitar-like instruments taken to Hawaiʻi by Portuguese immigrants.[3] It gained great popularity elsewhere in the United States during the early 20th century, and from there spread internationally.
The tone and volume of the instrument varies with size and
construction. Ukuleles commonly come in four sizes: soprano, concert,
tenor, and baritone.
